| | Plot: | Mary Linden works for the French Red Cross in Occupied France during World War II and helps allied soldiers who have been shot down to escape to the unoccupied side. Her activities are complicated by her high profile and her daughter's love affair with a German officer. Based on the true story.
In Second World War, the English Countess Mary Lindell and former Red-Cross nurse in the First World War lives in France with her son Maurice Lindell and her daughter Barbe Lindell. When she sees the Major James Leggatt wounded and wandering in an occupied Paris, she does not hesitate to risk her life to save him from the Germans.
