Amazon.com Delivering exactly what its title promises, this celebration of stupidity was Jim Carrey's 1994 follow-up to Ace Ventura: Pet Detective and The Mask. The film pairs the rubber- faced wacky man with Jeff Daniels as the not-so-dynamic duo of Lloyd and Harry, dunderheads who come into the possession of a briefcase containing ransom money that is intended for Mob-connected kidnappers. Lauren Holly costars as the woman who lost the briefcase, and with whom Carrey falls in love (both in real life and as his moronic on-screen character). As Lloyd and Harry make a mad dash to return the briefcase (never aware of its contents), the bumbling buddies attract Mobsters, cops, and trouble galore. This lowbrow laugh-a-thon scores some solid hits for hilarity, but with gags involving ill-fated parakeets, buxom bimbos, and an overdose of laxatives, be prepared to put your brain--and good taste--on hold. --Jeff Shannon
Product Description For Harry and Lloyd, every day is a no-brainer. Join these two halfwits as they travel across the country to return a suitcase full of cash to its rightful owner. Along the way, they'll confound and confuse everyone who crosses their path.

Dumb and Dumber Blu-ray January 21, 2010 T Woman (Camano Island, WA) Great movie!!! A classic for our family. Had it on DVD, but got scratched, so this was a replacement. Great quality of picture.
Funny but lots cruder...beware January 5, 2010 Idaho Soldiers Wife (ID United States) Love Dumb and Dumber. We quote it all the time. Our kids have seen it on TV and also enjoy it, however, this version is definitely NOT APPROPRIATE for kids. I came in to the room after they had been watching for awhile and I was totally embarrassed and had to shut it off. Other than that my husband and I really enjoyed the extras!

Find me a better comedy December 19, 2009 David Brock (Chicago) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I am an adult. I have an adult job, with adult bills, and an adult mortgage. But nothing, and I mean nothing, will get in the way of me listing Dumb and Dumber as one of my all-time five favorite movies (and I might put it up in the top three). And it should be that way -- no matter who you are, or how important you are, or how dignified you think you have to be, you have to admit that you need something -- anything -- that requires no deep thinking and a lot of laughing. And for me, Dumb and Dumber fills that void.
If you somehow haven't seen it, Dumb and Dumber is an early classic from the Farrelly Brothers, tracking Harry (Jeff Daniels) and Lloyd (Jim Carrey) -- two clueless, do-good best friends that drive to Aspen to give a love interest (Lauren Holly) her suitcase and Lloyd's heart. On the way, laughter ensues and a lot of it. It makes me want to trade a Mutts Cutts van for a moped, wear an extra pair of gloves, call up Ms. Samsonite, asking a woman if those are her skis (both of 'em), and so on. You can't miss this movie, check it out!
