Amazon.com Tim Allen and Kirstie Alley are New York scammers on the lam from the IRS--they got framed by their slimy accountant, Wayne Knight of Seinfeld--so they hide out as fake Amish farmers in Intercourse, Pennsylvania. As parodies of Witness go, For Richer or Poorer can't compete with the Woody Harrelson-Bill Murray flick Kingpin, by the creators of Dumb & Dumber. Allen and Alley are directed by the creator of McHale's Navy. But wait, come back! The true test of talent is a capacity to romp right through weak material, and while this story is hopelessly lame and formulaic, Allen and Alley are credible candidates for the clown prince and princess of broad TV comedy. When somebody wonders how come alleged Amish guy Tim Allen has no beard, Kirstie says, "Lice." Of course, his face has no lice on it either, so Kirstie adds, "Minute lice!" --Tim Appelo
Product Description Brad(Tim allen) and Caroline Sexton(Kirstie Alley) were incredibly rich and incredibly miserable. Until something unbelievable happened... their accountant robbed them dry. Now they're on the run from the IRS and hiding out in the one place no one will ever look for them... Amish country. While their lawyer sorts things out in New York, they've got to do their best to blend in and are failing miserably! Hard work may prove to be more difficult than hard time as the Sextons are learning how to milk cows, plow filds and fall in love all over again.

Extremely Satisfied June 5, 2009 S. Toure (Utah) I was very satisfied. This was a mothers day gift and i let the seller know, and he got it to me in plenty of time. The movie came in the original packaging like it stated.
Great Classic May 7, 2009 James W. Shriver (Seattle, WA) Tim Allen and Kirsty Alley are absolutely hillarious in this classic comedy. This was the hey day for both of these great actors. This is definitely a feel good comedy with some great life lesson undertones and loveable characters.
Fun comedy for the family March 4, 2009 Cynthia Brohas Gulacsy (Ohio, USA) This was a cute little comedy. Kirstie and Tim make a great romantic comedy team. This would make a great addition to your DVD collection. The storyline is pretty basic, rich couple has accountant that takes their monies for personal gain, disappears and leaves them in financial lurch, they hide from authorities in Amish country until their lawyer can track down accountant to set things straight, in the meantime, they work on repairing their marriage, fall in love all over again, and learn to appreciate the simpler things in life.
Ny favorite movie February 13, 2009 L. Robinson (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) This is my favorite movie, so far, ever. So funny & a nice ending.
