Never Arrived March 31, 2009 D. Schneider Ordered Feb.28 It is now March 31 and product never arrived.
Amazon handled a refund very fast for me. Even if the dvd ever does arrive, I have already invested money in ordering from somewhere else,
so I dont need it anymore.
Genious! October 24, 2008 Karine Gauthier (Quebec) Wow, wow and wow, what can I say more! A lot of friends who are french and do not like to listen movies in english try this one (with french subtitles) and they were speachless!
Dissapointing sequel July 18, 2008 Pork Chop (Lisbon, Portugal) THE LAST DON (II, SEQUEL) was released a year after, and aside from Jason Gedrick's
acting, and Kirstie Alley's on-screen charisma and presence, surely is miles away
from the first film. This sequel lacks Aiello, as well as Daryl Hannah, for example.
Over 90 minutes, the release panders to the lowest common denominator, with 18 year
old nudity, and different characters showing up in the so-called Big House, in between
a large number of rubouts in various ways. Furthermore, the film breaches the taboo of a
man compromising his priesthood with a one night stand with Kirstie's character, the latter
who is once again thrown into the spiral of widowdom, by the turn of events.
It turns out the lead character has some kind of obsessive compulsive disorder, in between
pre-emptive strikes against rivals and conspirators. The brutality will have viewers shun away
from the lack of measure in the violence, such as strangled victims, placed in soldered barrels,
close-range Uzi firings, knifings, etc.
Redundant considering the greatness of the earlier LAST DON, of course.
Profound May 14, 2008 Lasonja Boulware (San Diego, CA) This movie along with the original The Last Don are a must have for all movie lovers
The Last Don II April 23, 2008 E. S. Inada (Hilo, HI USA) This story is all about drama and action. I can watch this movie over and over again.
