Based on the classic (and infinitely more reputable) comic strip and its '30s screen serialization, this cotton-candy-colored trash classic deserves immortality for Queen's unforgettably pulsating soundtrack alone. The legendary Max von Sydow appears to be having a blast as the evil Ming the Merciless, while Ornella Muti, as his daughter, is the living embodiment of what attracts adolescent boys to comics in the first place. (She makes Barbarella look mundane.) If you want to purchase this film, you must to consider that It's was made about 25 years ago. You will not see digital effects, nor sound 7.1, but it's a must-have film for the 80's generation. The soundtrack (Queen) is the best !!! The costumes are very expensive and beautiful...and, of course, the performance of the actors (except Flash) are ok.
You will pass a nice time watching this movie.

i just purchased this at best buy..i have the older one with the snap on the side case...buy far,this one is much better..this one actually has extras and the sound and pic from what i can see is much better...
