The 1994 box-office hit that turned comedy maniac Jim Carrey into Hollywood's first $20-million man, this gag-filled no-brainer stars Carrey as the titular rubber-faced gumshoe who tracks down lost pets for his heartbroken clients. Ace's latest case involves the apparent kidnapping of the Miami Dolphins' team mascot, Snowflake the dolphin (natch). Friends fans will appreciate the presence of Courtney Cox, who remains admirably straight-faced as the Dolphins' publicist and Ace's would-be girlfriend, but of course it's Carrey who steals the show with shameless abandon.  Subtitles... in English? February 2, 2010

The quality of the DVD picture was fine, however, one thing I found pretty irritating was that there were distracting subtitles in English, even though the dialogue was entirely in English. I then assumed the DVD was created for those hard--of-hearing or deaf, but also realized the subtitles did not match the script in some scenes.
My advice would be to please be more considerate and mention this for other customers in the future. Someone may be having a hard time searching for a movie for deaf or hard-of-hearing people without this notice posted in the desription.

This is an excellent comedy movie that is suitable for family viewing. Jim Carey is a superb actor and comedian that is the success of this movie. It is a must see!!

I would give this movie the 5 stars it deserves just for the Hilarity alone, but for some reason, the Mosh Pit scene isn't in this version of the movie! That's one of the funniest scenes in the whole movie! What a shame that the "Powers That Be" cut it from this version! Rotten trick. Hopefully they will come out with the COMPLETE version on DVD soon. They'd have had to drug me to the gills to keep me from laughing if I were acting opposite Jim Carrey. I'd STILL laugh!

Finkle Is Einhorn! Einhorn Is finkle! Finkle is a MAN! one of the funniest moments in the movie. And one of the Best Comedy movies ever. On Location In Miami. Famous Joe Robbie Stadium(later Dolphin Stadium NOW Land Shark Stadium!) Miami Dolphins, Marino! great fun movie.
