Amazon.com Brace yourself: this is a clever, consistently entertaining, and even inspired continuation of the mean-spirited slasher series. For those not in the know, Chucky is a mop-top kid's doll come to life with the soul of a serial killer and the voice of Brad Dourif (doing his best Jack Nicholson). Revived by his former paramour Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly, looking every inch a life-size Barbie in stiletto heels and skintight black leather), Chucky proceeds to turn his human sweetie into a pint-sized Talking Tina doll with attitude, and together they hit the road for a magic amulet and young new bodies to inhabit. They hitch a ride with sweet young runaways Katherine Heigl and Nick Stabile and leave a trail of corpses bloodied, burned, and cut to ribbons. The kids are cute, but the real heat is generated by the latex lovers who use murder as foreplay and consummate their renewed romance in a night of passionate sex ("Shouldn't you wear a rubber?" "I'm all rubber!"). Hong Kong director Ronny Yu (The Bride with White Hair) directs with a light touch and against all odds transforms walking dolls Chucky and Tiffany into funny, energetic, full-blooded characters: l'amour fou has never been more crazy. John Ritter costars as Heigl's overprotective uncle (another obstacle on the road to dolly freedom) and Alexis Arquette is hilarious as a lanky goth nerd. The wild conclusion leaves room for another high-concept sequel. The DVD features two commentary tracks, a behind-the-scenes documentary, and "Jennifer Tilly's Diary." --Sean Axmaker

Terrible March 8, 2010 Coffee64 This is a very poorly written movie. It's more of a joke than anything. Not entertaining.
Bride of Chucky January 18, 2010 Arnita D. Brown (USA) Charles Lee Ray, has his body parts being held at a criminal evidence station in the form of a small doll known as the famous Chucky. When his old-time sweet heart, Tiffany, picks up his remaining limbs and puts them back together, she performs a ritual that revives the murderous maniac. But Chucky decides that he wants another individual to help him with his dirty work. So he kills Tiffany, and then revives her as a "doll bride". When they decide to spend their honeymoon with another happy couple on the highway, it becomes another murder spree. With a "blood-bath on wheels" and two murderous dolls, the human couples find that this was going to be a "Highway To Hell" in this gruesome film of blood and gore and a little bit of Chucky & Tiffany. Bride of Chucky is a fantastic movie, total entertainment from start to finish, great humour & horror, never becomes boring or dull. Highly reccomended for die-hard fans of the "Child's Play" series.

"Horror At Its Best!" November 4, 2009 Terry Richard (Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The best Chucky film and the highest grossing one making over 50 million dollars at the boxoffice, "The Bride of Chucky" brought renewed interest to the Chucky franchise. Jennifer Tilly steals the film as Chucky's new bride Tiffany who brings Chucky back to life. Tiffany eventually becomes a doll and the two go on a murderous rampage in the northeast, sort of like the doll version of "Thelma and Louise". The movie is intelligent, dark, funny, well-acted, and suspenseful, and horror buffs will love the chemistry between the two dolls. Another Chucky film, "The Seed of Chucky", followed, but was not a hit despite the presence of Jennifer Tilly. Nick Stabile, mostly known for a small role on the soap opera "Sunset Beach", plays a guy with whom the human Tiffany flirts with. He also shows off his amazing abs that will enlighten him to the female and gay audience that strive for horror films. The DVD comes with feature commentary, interviews, and the trailer.
