Amazon.com Chuck Norris fans will find Lone Wolf McQuade to be one of his best. Playing a rebellious Texas Ranger, Norris single-handedly wipes out an entire gang of horse thieves--and that's just the opening scene. From there the plot involves arms smuggling, McQuade's daughter being kidnapped, and a dwarf in an electric wheelchair. But the movie's real trump card is a face-off between Norris and David Carradine of the TV show Kung Fu, who plays a badass villain with a penchant for argyle sweaters (though truth be told, Norris's wardrobe is very 1980s as well). Barbara Carrera makes a suitable bad girl/love interest and science fiction fans will enjoy some familiar faces (Robert Beltran, who would later be part of Star Trek: Voyager, and William Sanderson, a supporting actor from Blade Runner). All in all, an action-packed romp with a reverent, almost mythological view of the Texas Rangers. --Bret Fetzer

Lone Wolf Found November 9, 2009 D. R. When I received my long awaited dvd "Lone Wolf McQuade" I could not believe it. I remember watching this movie when I was young. When I watched it again, it was like watching it for the first time. The movie is action packed, with legendary actors, and a great price. You don't see movies like this anymore. Go ahead and purchase this dvd you won't be disappointed. D.R.

DO NOT July 18, 2009 C. Miller 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I had to buy a DVD player in order to watch this, so me and the old lady went down to the Walmart and picked one up. I was hoping it came in VHS format, but it was worth spending our savings. I watched it WHILE WEARING MY WOLF SHIRT and before I knew what was happening my wife exploded. She was so turned on by the Chuck Norris / Wolf Shirt combination that she spontaneously combusted all over the room...and by default ruined my wolf shirt. Now i have to buy another one, I've seen a few with great reviews on here. I'm also interested in the Zubaz pants... a combo of Rex Kwon Do proportions. Anyhow, do not watch this film while wearing the Wolf Shirt, unless you want your old lady to explode and ruin your shirt.. ugh women..
All in all, a great film.
Chuck's Finest Hour June 11, 2009 Rafael G. Santiago .... that's just my opinion. I've always liked the "Spaghetti Western" feel of this movie. David Carradine is very good as always, the little bad guy is halarious and Chuck is cool as s**t!!
