| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com The 1982 sequel to Airplane! is basically more of the same class-clown ironies but with a more forced feeling to the jokes. In the first film, veterans such as Peter Graves, Robert Stack, and Lloyd Bridges were feeling their way through self-parody, and the air of experimentation was part of the fun. By this film, however, everybody knows what's up, and the assuredness of new cast members Raymond Burr, William Shatner, and Chuck Connors is almost counterproductive. Still, there's lots to laugh about. --Tom Keogh

Funny March 3, 2010 Shannyn Evans This movie is awesome. Watching it brought back alot of memories from watching it with my family growing up. I love being able to find things like this on the internet. I found and bought the first Airplane movie in the store but was unable to find this one. This movie rocks!!
More Guilty Pleasure November 6, 2009 S. Loftin I hadn't seen Airplane II for at least 10 years but decided to buy a used DVD to add to my collection. This kind of movie fits my sense of humor - kinda silly and gross in places, but still a lot of laughs. The humor is definitely 1980s with some pop-culture references that were fun to me, but would probably go over the heads of my grown children. It was also fun to see some of the actors that I hadn't seen in a few years. Even my wife, who wasn't looking forward to it, was laughing in some places. Not a cinematic masterpiece, but a fun time.
Airplane11: The Sequel September 3, 2009 L. Meyers (Grand Island Ne USA) It was a funny movie and I enjoyed it so much I gave it to my Grandson for his collection.
Airplane II: The Sequel August 31, 2009 S. Govindarajoo I love this movie it is still as funny as the first movie and worthwile watching over and over again with bunch of buddies
An Awesome Sequel!!! June 9, 2009 Pumpkin Man This is a very funny sequel that's just as hilarious as the original! I love all the jokes, gags, slapstick, and cameos! Ted Striker has been wrongfully put in an insane asylum because the lunar shuttle crashed during a test flight with Ted as the test pilot. He warned that it is a 'death trap' but no one believes him. On the night it's being launched, Ted breaks out and tries to stop it. The computer of the shuttle takes over, and the crew have been taken out. Ted and Elaine must once again save the people on board from being flown toward the sun, and this time, without any coffee! I highly recommend AIRPLANE II: THE SEQUEL!!!
