Product Description A bicycle messenger falls in love with a fellow-messenger who has become involved with a drug-dealer. Genre: Feature Film-Action/Adventure Rating: PG Release Date: 7-DEC-2004 Media Type: DVD
Amazon.com A hotshot stockbroker bets it all--and loses it all--in one day, effectively ruining all his customers while ending his career. So, naturally, he turns to that old stockbroker standby: he becomes a bicycle messenger. Kevin Bacon may have made this film simply to extend the strands of the Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon game; it's hard to imagine any other reason. Otherwise, this mid-'80s film stands as yet another example of a movie influenced by MTV without understanding what MTV does. Eventually, Bacon leads the exploited masses of messengers in an uprising against unfair labor practices by the evil bosses. There's an original concept. Notable as yet another film to give a role to the dazzlingly untalented Jami Gertz. --Marshall Fine

Good Flic & Service from the Supplier February 24, 2010 Bykhyk (VT USA) The DVD came on time and sealed as promised from the seller.
Not to mention, it was a good little flick at leaset is was for this avid cyclist.
Good flick January 24, 2010 Wendy A Justice Uprising against evil bosses? New York City? Actually, it's an uprising against an evil drug-dealer and the movie takes place in San Francisco. It's not particularly realistic, but it's quite entertaining and well done. Bacon's acting is better than I expected given when this film was made, and the story moved along well, with plenty of good chase scenes and action. Nothing too deep, but it's a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours.
Quicksliver January 14, 2010 Vollebak (San Diego, CA) Kevin Bacon is a good actor. This is a great movie without gross violence. A bonus for any cyclist because of the extensive use of the bike on the street.
So SAD, it's FULL screen (1.33:1) November 20, 2009 HankSter (Area 51) Screen Format states ....1.33:1 = Full Screen, I hate 1.33:1
What's sad it costs extra $$$$$ for them to make a Chop and Crop (Pan & Scan) version from an originally filmed Widescreen movie.
Hey, production companies ..... SQUARE TV's are history !!!!
It makes it go faster November 9, 2009 P. McAlpin (Oaklyn, NJ USA) The scene where he gets up from bed and starts oiling his bike's chaind and the chick asks why are you doing that and the bacon man says "it makes it go faster." Yeah, that scene is awesome.
