| Customer Reviews: Angie Stone Review October 19, 2009 Marcello M. Torres (Houston, USA) The music is very good but the quality of the movie/imagies is not so good.
Angie Stone is Amaaaaazing March 19, 2006 Angie's #1 Fan (Upper Marlboro, MD) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
Angie Stone rules and it's a shame she doesn't get the props she is due. Everytime I watch a live performance of her, I get more convinced that she will be classified as one of the greats of our era. This dvd is amazing, she sings all my faves and she sounds great on every song. For all Angie Stone fans, you need to get the Pure Sessions dvd, she really gave a funky performance in a small intimate setting. You'll feel like you were in the club. Everybody in the club looked like they were having a ball. Personally, I feel that other soul singers (jill Scott, Erykah Badu & Alicia Keys) cannot hold a candle to her. The only person that comes close is Jill Scott. Please support a true artist.
Great Performances! December 19, 2003 Well, BLEEP You Too (A Southern Californian Forced into Washinton state) 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
This is a great dvd but on some performances, mainly "P!$$ed off", her backup singers can barley be heard. As great as Angie Stone is on this DVD, the sound should have been checked before filiming. Another disappointment, No songs from Black Diamond were performed.
