If there's nothing else to watch............ April 28, 2009 Nathan Christian (New Stanton, PA USA) it's a tv movie budget with [...]. Male and female. Not real exciting, but watchable if you can't find something better. Low brow acting, low brow chills, low brow special effects. Nothing really zippy here.
Doubled my rating since I was forced to watch it... January 25, 2008 Salvador Minuchin (IN) I don't normally watch b movies, so I gave it two stars, so as not to pull down the average too far. I found it painful to watch...not scary, painful. The only redeeming scene is the ghost handprint indicating fellatio between ghost woman Sarah and man. Here are the elements of the movie which receive an F-: The screenplay. The characters...shallow as you can imagine, which develop, if at all, in an instant. They are not believable at all. The acting...ridiculous. No, not ridiculous. I take that back. Just mechanical. The pacing...no one interrupts anyone. Way too slow. The camera lingers on actors who are not compelling. Each actor waits about one second after the other actor finishes talking, before responding some banal cliche, as if trying to invite a gust of gravity in the room. The cinematography...special effects for the sake of special effects...didn't really add anything to the movie, seemed ridiculous...effects guy was toying around with some new technique and having fun. The lighting and colors in the film are inappropriate for the subject matter. It looks more like a comedy.

Loved the good old fashion *Ghost Scare* then this is for you. Our family will curl up and watch over and over again...give us a rainy day and call it good with a movie like this (if you like Ghost flicks)

The crew of a reality-TV show about the paranormal visits a small Kansas town to investigate a house that may be haunted. What makes this one so good is that it based on true events, everyone LOVES a good ghost story, especially if it is true. This one is VERY believable!! best B movie Ive seen in a long time, best ghost movie too June 1, 2004 sinisterfiend666 (the master of Horror) 8 out of 10 found this review helpful
I was very impressed by this "no name" movie. The movie is based on an event that happened on the old series Sightings. It is supposed to be a true story and tells you the experience the family had at a house, and how the skeptics from the Sightings TV show tried to rule out scientific explanation. It is a movie, not a documentary. I think its one of the best ghost movies out there because it has a sense of believability: meaning it's not so off the wall you will say "yea right" its not a super high budget movie, the effects wont blow you away, but the story will. The Sightings episode this movie is based on is the one where the sightings crew actually video tapes a guy that has scratches appear on his body. The episode aired several years ago I remember seeing it. Anyway Awesome horror-ghost movie! If you like poltergeist or Amityville horror, you will like this
