Description Obsessed with perfection, young gymnast Andie (Felicity's Amy Jo Johnson) nearly starves herself to realize her dream of making the Olympic gymnastics team. Told "the lighter the better" by her coach, Andie finds her perfect life crumbling as she tries to keep up with the competition. This compelling story realistically presents the issue of gymnastics and eating disorders. In addition to serving as technical advisor and choreographing the gymnastic routines, two-time Olympic gymnast Cathy Rigby stars as an assistant coach.

so boring so mediocre December 1, 2008 I kept forwarding couldn't wait it to its end, fortunately I just borrowed it - after reading all the positive feedbacks, I couldn't believe it.
For what it was.... October 25, 2008 This movie was perfect for young female gymnists to watch. It focuses on the pressures and stress of being in a competitive sport. I think the actress did very well in portraying a young girl with anorexia. This is a must see for everyone. Well done.

Welcome to Andie's world. A world of school, training and eating disorders. Andie Bradley is a high achiever who accels at anything she does. When she gets the chance to train with an Olympic coach and has the opportunity to go to the Olympics, she jumps at it. Only after her and her mother relocate to Seattle does the pressure begin. In the most humiliating moment of her life she's put on scale in front of the entire gym and told to lose weight. So she does. Only she couldn't stop once she started. Thus, begins her spiraling downwards into the devestating world of anoroxia and bulmia. This is very well made movie and highlights the stress and strain that female athelites feel and the pressure to be thin and perfect. This is not your average movie. The stress Andie feels is acurately portrayed and the pain of her parents is raw and real. This movie achieves its goal to tell a story in a thoughtful and compelling way.
