I was going to waste space telling everyone how bad this movie is but.... Fred Ward - Sucked Dennis Hopper - Okay Nadine Velasquez - sucked (bimbo girlfriend) terrible actress Will Patton - Good Peter Onorati - Stiff, emotionless acting, sterotypical young good guy/punk MOVIE - REALLY SUCKED PLOT - STUPID CARS - Only appeal to young reckless drivers All equal DUMB, MINDLESS movie
not for muscle car fans November 26, 2007 Abel Davos If you enjoyed "Vanishing Point", "Dirty Mary Crazy Larry", the original "Gone In 60 Seconds" or even "Two-Lane Blacktop", do NOT buy this movie. Even counting interior shots, the lovely 1969 GTO Judge Pontiac is seen for a total of less than five minutes in the entire movie, mostly mute and static. It is seen driving for barely more than two minutes. Instead center stage is given to product placement of the then-new 2004 Holden Monaro GTS, here called a Pontiac GTO for the US market. The movie itself has not merits either in storyline, dialogue or acting and completely wastes a competent character actor like Fred Ward. Get any of the above movies or "Deathproof" instead. If you need to have car trash with Dennis Hopper, get his infinitely better 1981 "King of the Mountain".

The Last Ride ..so the 'cruiser' thinks the GTO isn't so good because it's made by Holden (GM AUSTRALIA) & not Pontiac or Chevrolet; well GM in America are so impressed by the design & build quality, Holden have been chosen to engineer & build worldwide GM rear wheel drive cars, just like the ones you get in your neck of the woods cruiser!
