Laugh till you HURT! February 6, 2010 Jeffrey D. Jeffers (Donaldson, AR USA) We bought the first season for our disabled son to watch while we travel. He loves them, except for the fact that the fist season didn't have a PLAY ALL option. The Second season fixed that problem! Our whole family enjoys the clean, zany humor that only comes out of Hooterville!
AUTHORED BY ALF AND RALPH MONROE January 31, 2010 D. Garcia (Los Angeles) Second worst authoring ever after the first season's worst and I thought Sony was brain dead. At least Alp and Ralph put in a menu with more than one choice this time.
No skipping past the title sequences, you have to fast forward. Double sided DVDs do not show which side is up. What's up with that?
The AUTHORING company has the nuts to have an annoying horrible ad after each episode for their inept services.
The show itself... well you know how good it was... well maybe you don't know... what is it you don't know?
TV comedy doesn`t get much better than this January 3, 2010 M. Shepherd Lisa and Oliver Douglas continue to try adapting to the rural lifestyle in the 2nd season with very limited success. The best
comedy is nothing more than real life exaggerated. And that is exactly what this classic tv show does. It takes some of the
elements of both rural and city living (often the more sterotypical ones) and exaggerates them to the extreme, then sets them
on a collision course that results in a hysterically funny comedy crash.
A True Classic Comedy October 4, 2009 Crochet Cat (Milford, MI United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you enjoy classic comedies, this one is for you. Oliver and Lisa are at their best with their funny neighbors and "son" Eb. This series makes me laugh no matter how many times I have seen the episodes.
Great old TV June 24, 2009 KJ Bleu (La Mirada, CA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Fun show, with a lot of surreal touches to go with the corny comedy. Eva Gabor is still one of my all-time crushes!
