While Volume One in Carmen Electra's Aerobic Striptease series featured Electra working out in front of a bed, Vegas Strip offers a more public venue, Studio 54, as her instructional setting. Since this segment is filmed at a legendary dance club, it makes sense that this workout session is constructed of choreographed dance moves, that one can either use on the dance floor or keep under wraps at home. Vegas Strip's half-hour session will provide good cardiovascular exercise, depending on what one puts into it, though it mostly improves grace and coordination, in easy-to-learn segments set to pulsating dance music. This is equally valuable since the premise of this series is to feel sexy and have fun while working out. Though it does appear to be more of a lesson in choreography, Vegas Strip clearly demonstrates the challenge implicit to such sexed-up dance moves, and may give those who shun dirty dancing a respect for the real professionals. —Trinie Dalton

I enjoyed it. I've always been active in high school, doing volleyball, basketball, and track. I don't always have time to run when its cool outside so this video is gives me a good workout while allowing me stay indoors.

Out of all the aerobic DVDs I own (10-minute pilates, the Bar Method, etc.) I feel this video (Fit To Strip - disc 2 in the set) has given me the best results. After doing at least 5 days a week for about a month and a half, I have really noticed my legs changing. I have lost nearly all excess on the back of my legs (hamstring area) and even the thigh area is becoming more defined. This DVD combines cardio work with strength training which uses your own body weight and gravity against you. There are lots of squat-type exercises that focus on the legs. I recommend this DVD by itself for anyone looking to tone up for the summer!

If you're buying these separately to save money, and I recommend this (I bought the whole set on a whim), you only really need parts 1, 2, and 5. Discs 3 & 4 are cheap 5 minute long 'routines' that you're supposed to do for an audience that don't give you a bit of a workout.
Disc 1 has a nice warm up, and two dancing, slightly sexy routines, one of which has you on the floor spreading your legs. It's fun and a good workout, although it could be a little longer. To get more out of it, I keep chaptering back and doing the run through over and over again. I especially repeat the last dance routine, as it seems the hardest.
Disc 2 is strength training. I find it has a rather different spin on it than the strength training I'm used to. Which, in my world, different is good and keeps you interested. There's no equipment used but a chair, but I've easily adapted the arm exercises to add some weights. Some exercises are quite challenging, and you'll definitely feel it the next day.
Disc 5 is a hip hop dance routine that is very challenging and my favorite. Repeat this combo a few times and you'll be sweating for sure.
Overall, I think the name 'Aerobic Striptease' is pretty misleading, although it is true for some of the discs. As for Carmen herself, I've grown quite fond of her after watching all the DVDs. She's got a rather subtle yet informative instructing style. She slows the moves down dramatically to teach them, so much so that you'll find yourself thinking 'Just GET ON with it already!' But you do indeed learn the moves easily with her teaching. She's quite fun to work with, and beautiful, to boot.

I brought this video based off of the rating. What a mistake. Please read the negative reviews first so you can save your money.
This was ridiculous. I am pretty sure Carmen is a nice person and a great dancer but she is a bad instructor. If you want to buy this dvd for a great workout are a new routine, please be prepared to rewind rewind rewind each portion of the routine. Also she had too many steps within each portion. And the worst part of this video is the end. Once you spent however many hours learning the routine, she shows you the last part then says "lets take it from the beginning". Then it goes to a club scene. The routine becomes all about her and forgets that it is an instructional video. I was dumb founded. Such a waste of my MONEY.
