For The Must Have It All Die-Hard Fan! June 27, 2009 *lovelygirl* This is an unauthorized documentary film with non-Britney music, no one on one Interviews, no performances, no exclusive bonus material and a few clips in a mini-TV screen, repetitive scenes over and over non-stop, and a panel of people discussing their opinion on Britney. This is found on the double disc released recently titled, Britney Spears: Girls Are Always Right. The artwork on this DVD was done backwards so that when it stands the name is read wrong, the disc artwork is black with a red strip, and the entire viewing is tiring, monotonous, and extremely lacking --unless you are a totally obsessed die-hard Britney fan who knows little of her. The documentary expresses Britney's beginnings from childhood as she began dancing at a young age, tried out for Star Search, the Mickey Mouse Club, fell in love with Justin, and grew up in the public eye. The commentators each had their own spin revealing how Britney has had to struggle to get to where she is and how she got her inspirations through Madonna. Throughout the talks Madonna was mentioned quite frequently. The viewing is up until the album In The Zone and up until the engagement with Kevin Federline. The Onyx Tour was also repeated as one of her best concerts and clips were seen in a mini-TV --the same tour clip over and over. There's no new information for those who already know the main information on Britney's growth as it simply states the typical details many are aware like her birth place, her quick Vegas wedding, the Madonna Britney Kiss, and her fantastic hits like "...Baby One More Time", "Oops! I Did It Again", and "Toxic". Many of these clips are seen also in the DVDs titled, Innocent Beauty and Britney Spears: The Return of an Angel. There is no menu, no trivia quiz, no photo gallery, and no extras. The most you will see of Britney is her talking in a mini-TV about her album In The Zone for a few minutes [how she had many producers help her] and a few takes on her saying how Madonna is her idol. There are just fractions of seconds of her popping on the screen--nothing long or impacting like her newer DVD release which I recommend titled, Britney: For the Record which is authorized by her. The picture painted of Britney in this documentary is of a rising superstar who has achieved such high status comparable to her idol Madonna. It puts a nice detailed look into her rise to fame with respects to how hard it must be to live with the paparazzi, and so much publicity. How she began and grew up in the public eye. Overall if you want a DVD with quality, performances, a menu, correct artwork, and current information this is not for you. Die-hard fans would be better off getting the double disc Britney Spears: Girls Are Always Right if totally determined to buy it and new fans won't get a good idea of who Britney is but rather a non accurate glimpse. Being a very loyal fan from the start I find this to be one more DVD to add to my collection which I find totally worthwhile and the reason I give it 3 stars.

This is obviously an unauthorised film. A couple of English people with a handycam with nothing new to say.
This DVD Is So Bad....! August 20, 2005 Marco Guzman (Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico) 15 out of 17 found this review helpful
well i'm a huge fan of Britney, i was waiting like crazy for this DVD, when arrived i just opened it and play it on my DVD Player, then i was so disappointed... this DVD is just like "Innocent Beauty" (wich is a little expensive for the boring features) or "Britney's Scrapbook" (The Real name could be "Britney's Crap Book" LoL) ok, well this DVD is just interviews and horrible footage really the money DON'T WORTH IT, this is for REAL FANS and mostly COLLECTORS just another Britney Item for the Collection that's all, is not the big thing and really all the people on the DVD says the same damn things "...she grow up in Kentwood...Disney...'Baby One More Time'..." there is nothing new on it
