Product Description THE BOYS ARE BACK & THEY'RE BIGGER THAN EVER IN THE GUT-BUSTING ALL-NEW HOLY SCHNIKE EDITION! TWO NE'ER-DO-WELL TRAVELING SALESMEN HIT THE ROAD IN ORDER TO SAVE THE FAMILY BUSINESS.
Amazon.com Before his death, comedian Chris Farley made a pair of surprisingly successful comedies that teamed him with Saturday Night Live colleague David Spade. Their relationship in each film was pretty much the same, but then so was Abbott and Costello's or Laurel and Hardy's (not that Farley and Spade are in their league). In Tommy Boy, Farley plays the ne'er-do-well son of a successful auto parts manufacturer (Brian Dennehy). When Dad drops dead just after marrying a young new wife, it's up to Tommy (aided by sarcastic bean-counter Spade) to rescue the company by taking over for his father. Black Sheep features a slightly different plot: This time, Spade is hired by Farley's brother (Tim Matheson), a candidate for governor, to keep Farley (an accident-prone buffoon) out of sight until after the election. Farley has a likable quality that is exploited by continuous slapstick centered on his clumsiness, both physically and socially. --Marshall Fine

"YOUR BRAIN HAS THE SHELL ON IT" September 12, 2008 R. Arrington (Somewhere) Never before has there been a comedy with this much heart and soul.Chris Farley plays the son of an expert auto parts salesman, whos passing leaves the family business in jeopardy of being sold.Farley suits up with his number crunching friend (David Spade) and together they set out across the country to sell enough brakepads to save the day, what follows is pure comedic genius. From a college triumph to an unforgettable plane ride, and from highway hijinks to one hilarious sales pitch after another, this film is undoubtedly Farley's greatest work and a comedy masterpiece.Having been practically raised on this movie,I can honestly say that it has brought years of laughter for me and my family and that I highly recommend this film.Though the big guy is not with us anymore,he still lives on in this brilliant film which I hope will bring just as much joy to your home as it has in mine.
