Well crafted film of Jimmy Braddock set in the depression era. Fine acting by Russell Crowe and excellent fight scenes - not quite Raging Bull but the story definitely leaves a lasting impression. Blu Ray makes all the images and sounds crystal clear.

Fantastic movie, one of Russell Crowe's absolute best performances. The Blu-ray version really makes the picture stand out. I can watch this movie over and over again. It's a human story more than a boxing story and my wife loves it as well.
