If you love Tom Green, DO NOT BUY January 23, 2010 S. Szapucki (toms river, nj usa) This is not a quality Tom Green flick (i.e. Freddy Got Fingered, Subway Monkey Hour, etc). This is a generic family comedy starring Brook Shields. Do not waste your money.
Good for a laugh December 14, 2009 Caroline Carr (Richmond, VA) Not necessarily the best movie ever made, but definitely good for a laugh or two.
Needs better packaging September 12, 2009 Nancy J. Glass (USA) When I received my DVD, it was not secure in the jewel case, but just knocking around in it. It skips in a few places but my granddaughter watches it anyway. I would like to see the jewel case opened before shipping, an insert put in the case to prevent the DVD from coming loose and the jewel case shrink wrapped again.
Extremely Funny!!! July 9, 2009 Pumpkin Man I've always been a fan of Tom Green, and he's still hilarious, even in a family comedy! Green plays a slob named Bob, who can't keep a job. He looks for jobs in alphabetical order in the Yellow Pages. He goes to Butler School, and is the only one to pass. Anne Jamieson is a single mom to Tess and Bates, who usually act like brats. Anne asks Bob to babysit, and becomes the new butler. Throughout the film, Bob becomes more of a father figure to Tess and Bates. Bates wants to be on the basketball team, so Bob tries to help with that, and Tess is going through a rebellious phase and tries robbing from a store, because of peer pressure. Bob is usually incompetent, but Anne begins to fall in love with him. I highly recommend BOB THE BUTLER!!!
Bob the Butler December 19, 2007 Karen S (New Castle, DE) I ordered this movie for Thanksgivings because I was having dinner at my home. I had water damage the day before Thanksgiving and the plumber could not come out until the Saturday after the holiday. I was so depressed so I watched the movie while a friend was trying to fix the problem. I laughed until I cried. I packed all the uncooked food and travelled to my sister home and prepared Thanksgiving dinner. I took the movie and they asked could the keep the movie until Saturday. My family enjoyed watching this movie on Thanksgiving Day. When you are sad and need a good laugh. Definitely put on this movie. Excellent family movie.
