Product Description JOHN BECKWITH AND JEREMY GREY, A PAIR OF COMMITTED WOMANIZERS WHO SNEAK INTO WEDDINGS TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE ROMANTIC TINGE IN THE AIR, FIND THEMSELVES AT ODDS WITH ONE ANOTHER WHEN JOHN MEETS AND FALLS FOR CLAIRE CLEARY. HIDE YOUR BRIDESMAIDS!
Amazon.com With Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson as a pair of brazen wedding crashers, this buddy/romantic comedy milks a few big laughs from its foolproof premise. Under the direction of David Dobkin (who previously worked with Wilson on Shanghai Knights), the movie ranges from bawdy romp to mushy romance, and that tonal identity crisis curtails the overall hilarity. But when the well-teamed costars are firing on all pistons with fast-paced dialogue and manic situations, belly laughs are delivered at a steady clip. Things get complicated when the guys infiltrate the family of the Treasury Secretary (Christopher Walken), resulting in a romantic pair-off between Vaughn and the congressman's oversexed daughter Gloria (Isla Fisher) while Wilson sincerely woos another daughter, Claire (Rachel McAdams), who's unhappily engaged to an Ivy League cheater (Bradley Cooper). Walken is more or less wasted in his role, but Jane Seymour and Henry Gibson make amusing appearances, and a surprise guest arrives late in the game for some over-the-top scene-stealing. It's all a bit uneven, but McAdams (considered by some to be "the next Julia Roberts") is a pure delight, and with enough laughs to make it easily recommended, Wedding Crashers will likely find its place on DVD shelves alongside other flawed but enjoyable R-rated comedies that embrace a naughtier, nastier brand of humor with no need for apologies. --Jeff Shannon

Wedding Crashers - Uncorked (Unrated Full Screen Edition) February 7, 2010 Arnita D. Brown (USA) The thirty and something years old bachelor partners and best friends divorce mediators John Beckwith and Jeremy Grey have a hobby of crashing weddings following predetermined rules to have one night stand with different women. When they decide to crash the most important wedding of Washington pretending they are brothers, in a party promoted by the Secretary of Treasury William Cleary, John breaks their rules and has a crush on Claire Cleary and Jeremy scores the sex-addicted Gloria Cleary, both daughters of William. Gloria invites Jeremy to spend the weekend at the Cleary family estate, and John sees the chance to be close to Claire, in spite of her engagement with the arrogant Zachary "Sack" Lodge. Along the weekend with the dysfunctional Cleary family, John and Jeremy will fall in love for the sisters, but their real identities jeopardize the relationship. This movie contains just enough real emotion to keep you caring, and enough absurdity and broad physical comedy to keep you laughing.
Dissappointed January 12, 2010 M. Montfort 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought a 'new' DVD and got a 'used' one instead. It had fingerprints and minor scratches all over it. It was supposed to be a Christmas gift too! The seller should have sold it as used, NOT new.
Real Good December 27, 2009 Kyshawn Dean (New York City) You have to love that in the 1st 30 minutes this is a raunchy man's man type of movie but suddenly turns to a chick flick and still keeps you interested.Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn are amazing in this movie.I officially fell in love with Rachel McAdams. And Isis Fisher is the crazy girl that you want to stay away from but can't get enough of at the same time. This goes in the collection of movies i can watch over and over....

When the expected day at last arrives! November 18, 2009 Hiram Gomez Pardo (Valencia, Venezuela) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn are two scoundrels who love to participate in weddings seducing all the possible women. But as always a crucial twist of fate will appear and both lives will experience a new turn.
Amusing and funny entertainment in this hard to believe modern fairy tale approached from the male perspective.
