Amazon.com This somewhat unpleasant 1992 sequel to the blockbuster Home Alone revisits the first film's gimmick by stranding Macaulay Culkin's character in New York City while his family ends up somewhere else. Again, the little guy meets up with colorful people on the margins of society (including a pigeon woman played by Brenda Fricker) and again he gets into a prop-heavy battle with Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern. The latter sequence is even worse than the first film in terms of violence inflicted on the two villains (director Chris Columbus, who also made the first film, can't seem to emphasize the slapstick over the graphic effects of the fight). The best running joke finds a concierge (Tim Curry) at the swank hotel where Culkin is staying trying and failing to prove that the boy is on his own. --Tom Keogh
Description Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) is back! But this time he's in New York City with enough cash and credit cards to turn the Big Apple into his own playground! But Kevin won't be alone for long. The notorious Wet Bandits, Harry and Marv (Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern), still smarting from their last encounter with Kevin, are bound for New York too, plotting a huge holiday heist. Kevin's ready to welcome them with a battery of booby traps the bumbling bandits will never forget!

Review of Home Alone 2 February 3, 2010 M. Melchior I purchased this movie for a gift and from what I understand the person that received it was very happy .
Good product, bad price February 3, 2010 S. Seacat I bought this for my husband as a Christmas gift last year. The product was great, but the price was pretty high for a used DVD. Wish I had looked around a little more for a better price.
movie February 2, 2010 Kathy A. Woessner (Tontogany, OH) Everything went great with this order. I would highly recommend to buy from this seller.
Home Alone at the Plaza? January 25, 2010 Charlene Freethy (San Francisco, CA) An excellent Christmas movie combining the young lad Kevin Collins, NYC and 1990's family life. I especially enjoyed the background of the Plaza Hotel and Central Park. The side story of Kevin's friendship with the homeless pigeon-loving lady Maggie is precious and heart warming. For those who enjoy action, there is plenty with the bungling criminals from the first Home Alone attempting to steal the charitable donations of Duncan's Toys for the St. Anne's charity - and Kevin's determination not to let them! Overall, a wonderful movie - especially for children eight to thirteen....
Home Alone 2: Lost in New York January 23, 2010 Arnita D. Brown (USA) Kevin McAllister and his family are planning to go to Miami, Florida during the holiday season this time around. At the airport, Kevin becomes seperated from his family and ends up on an airplane to New York City. Kevin manages to stop a taxi cab and has the driver take him to the Plaza Hotel, and using his father Peter's credit card, Kevin rents out a suite. While in New York, Kevin befriends E. F. Duncan, a friendly toy store owner, and Kevin also befriends a homeless Pigeon Woman then Kevin runs into his old enemies Harry and Marv, who have escaped from prison. When Kevin discovers that Harry and Marv plan to rob Mr. Duncan's toy store on Christmas Eve, Kevin makes plans to stop them. Kevin's mother Kate, upon realizing that she and the family have become seperated from Kevin, frantically tries to find Kevin. Home Alone 2 is a very good sequel. The new traps for the Wet, er... Sticky Bandits are great. Once again Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern give wonderful performances. Having Tim Curry in this was also a treat. There is a lot of enjoyment in this movie.
