Amazon.com Funnyman Martin Lawrence steps back into the latex fatsuit for Big Momma's House 2, the sequel to one of Lawrence's biggest hits. Malcolm Turner (Lawrence, Bad Boys, Rebound) goes undercover, turning his Big Momma disguise into a nanny for a computer company executive who may be concocting a means to hack into military databases. But that's just a pretense to get Big Momma coping with a perfectionist mom and her three kids, who are all dysfunctional in cute and easily resolved ways. Naturally, Big Momma dispenses life lessons and catches the crooks while Lawrence does his best to milk his fat drag act for cheap laughs. Unfortunately, those cheap laughs never quite pay off; the script is a wastebasket of cliches and clumsy set-ups for gags that never seem worth the effort. The movie desperately wants to appeal to women with cute kids while luring men with a spa visit featuring scantily clad Victoria's Secret models. Even Lawrence's fans will find themselves snoozing through this one. --Bret Fetzer

It is funny. January 8, 2010 Carol Hunt The movie is pretty hilarious. If you analyze it down it won't pass the test of decency like probably every film that I have ever seen. It makes fun of fat women and black women. Martin's character avoids house work and taking orders from a woman because he is male, and that puts it into the realm of reproduction of patriarchy that plagues basically every corporate produced film. It is a comedy, though, and I think it can get away with some of the faults. It is definitely not the worst movie I have watched in this regard. I am kind of surprised about all the negative reviews.
Big Momma s House 2 January 5, 2010 Arnita D. Brown (USA) Undercover FBI Agent Malcolm Turner is out to expose the suspected designer of a deadly computer "worm" that would allow outside forces access to sophistical and critical government intelligence files. Unfortunately, the only way the crafty agent can get next to the worm's creator, Tom Fuller, is to access the programmer's Orange County home as the new "nanny" to Fuller and his wife Leah's children: toddler Andrew and his two older sisters, Carrie and Molly. This movie is hillarius, it's Martin Lawrence at his best, this is what he is made for, to make you laugh till you fall in the floor.
Big Momma's House 1 and 2 November 24, 2009 Kasey N. Willis (Atlanta, Georgia) These movies are hysterical. Martin Lawrence is great when he is disguised as Big Momma. My kids love this movie set.
Plays Like New July 12, 2009 A. Haywood (Chicago IL USA) This movie plays just as good as a brand new movie. Very good price for it.
Big Momma is Back & Better Than Ever!!! June 9, 2009 Pumpkin Man This is a very funny sequel! Martin Lawrence is back, doing what he does best! 6 years after the original, Malcolm Turner has married Sherri, and has become a family man. He is still at the F.B.I. but he is working behind a desk. He soon finds out that his original partner has been killed. He overhears that a man named Tom Fuller may be involved in creating a virus that will create back doors into data stored on FBI computers. Malcolm decides to go back undercover as Big Momma and be a nanny to Mr. Fuller's kids. They all get into some pretty hilarious situations, including hanging out on the beach, teaching cheerleading, and going to a spa. I highly recommend BIG MOMMA'S HOUSE 2!!!
