A slight case of murder March 19, 2009 R. DUPREE (Charlotte, NC) William H. Macy is wonderful in this comedic look at murder and trying to cover it up. A classic!
A Jewel September 30, 2008 Allen W. Bryson (Chesapeake City, MD United States) This movie was made for TV. It is better than 98% of the regular releases that are shown in theaters. Neat plot, great acting. There are few movies I can watch more that once and I have watched this several times. William H. Macy is great and his comedic timing is wonderful in this movie.
Great Fun Movie! September 23, 2008 Brian Newberry (Hollywood, California) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm surprised how few "5-Star" ratings this movie has. It's terrific. Sort of a dark humor murder mystery. It's extremely funny in parts, and full of surprises. William H. Macy steals the show, frequently making asides to us - the audience - about his next idea, and how this isn't going as he'd planned, etc. Terrific film. If nothing else, rent this on NetFlix or something. You won't be disappointed.
'Slight Case of Murder' sets the scene for major enjoyment August 29, 2008 Dulcera (Germantown, MD) Loved this darkly humorous take of a self-involved critic who gets caught up in murder and all of its resulting mayhem.
