Awful February 16, 2009 Lily (California, United States) This movie is horrible and the furthest thing i've seen from reality. The acting, plot, and filming was cheap and uninteresting. Save your money.
Cheap but Good! September 23, 2008 euroyankee (Ar Ramadi, Iraq) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The first thing I sensed was a made for TV movie feel... The budget was low and the story was a little campy and inconceiveable. Then the movie grew on me. It was very entertaining despite the digs at the purist's pet pieves. Just watch it to be entertained. If you nit pick the details through this film, you'll only make yourself miserable. Plug it in and enjoy the carnage!
Stay Away!!!! August 20, 2008 Joshua A. Spencer (Fort Hood, TX) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
An absolutely awful movie. The grade of film used must have been purchased at wal-mart. The soundtrack was rediculous. The characters barely two-dimensional. The costuming was downright offensive. AS a member of the (non-rascist) skinhead culture, I know how we dress, and on possibly one occasion have I ever seen someone wear a white t-shirt. I've never met anyone who let there boot laces dangle. The plot almost had hope. Almost. Has the protagonist not been a whiny, anti-social, tough-guy wannabe I might have almost cared about him. Ugh, I don't even want to think about this movie anymore. Just stay away that's all I can say.
Skinhead Subculture July 28, 2008 Jess A. Britt (Louisville KY) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you've gotten your views of what the "skinhead subculture" is based on a movie like this one... you are blind and unable to see that white power racists have hijacked a good image and made it bad. How about this? The original skinheads were both white and black and the music of choice was reggae which later spawned ska which in the 90s was a huge movement in the american music scene. A political organization told poor working class whites in the UK that if they would turn against the blacks they so harmoniously got along with that they would have better odds of having a good life. So they did so... and then SUDDENLY there's a worldwide "white on black" "skinhead white power" movement. Wow. Wonder who was behind it all? I wonder if he made a lot of money and if he's happy with himself.
Wow -- what a rush June 12, 2008 Walter F (Los Angeles) I watched this flick on DVD recently and was blown away...Wow. It has some of the most realistic fight scenes in it I've seen since Bourne and Romper Stomper...My friends and I are fans of Quentin Tarantino and action movies so we rented this, but sometimes films aren't good -- this was a pleasant surprise. Plus Angela Jones from this movie was also in Pulp Fiction and Curdled -- she is really good. All the acting is strong, I agree that the story could have focused on 1-2 storylines, but I found it compelling and interesting. My two cents anyway.
