Product Description Like a small-screen version of A FEW GOOD MEN, the television series JAG delves into the world of military justice with a stirring blend of action and drama. Created by TV stalwart Donald Bellisario (MAGNUM P.I., QUANTUM LEAP), the series follows JAG (Judge Advocate General) officer Harmon "Harm" Rabb (David James Elliott) and his partner, Marine Lt. Colonel Sarah "Mac" Mackenzie (Catherine Bell), as they investigate and prosecute military crimes within the Marine Corps and Navy. This collection presents the series' third season for a total of 24 episodes.
Amazon.com Former Navy pilot-turned-JAG attorney Harmon "Harm" Rabb (David James Elliott) finds a connecting thread through a number of seemingly random cases he takes on in JAG (Judge Advocate General): The Complete Third Season. The thread concerns the fate of his father, a Navy pilot shot down over Vietnam and missing in action since the war, a fact that has possessed Harm since childhood. Building on scattered clues and shards of testimony, The Complete Third Season suggests that the elder Rabb fell into the hands of the Soviet Union, a possibility that Harm is compelled to investigate all the way through a taut, cliffhanger ending involving a stolen, Soviet MiG fighter. Not that everything is about one storyline. The rest of season three features the usual mix of interesting military cases, a few with strong parallels to events in the real world. "Ghost Ship" concerns the discovery of a human skeleton between two hulls of a decommissioned carrier (that happened to be where Harm's father served). The remains are of a man who appears to have been murdered circa 1970, and the whole case brings back a lot of ghosts for Harm. "The Court-Martial of Sandra Gilbert" finds a welcome guest-starring role from Elizabeth Mitchell, who plays a Cobra pilot on trial for allegedly maintaining an affair with an enlisted man despite orders to cease. The situation pits Harm, defending Mitchell's character, against his JAG colleague Sarah "Mac" MacKenzie (Catherine Bell), who volunteers to prosecute the case to assure fairness toward the accused. When the case becomes a hot, political football, both Harm and Mac find themselves in a very delicate situation in the national spotlight. "King of the Fleas" is an unsettling episode about a disabled, Vietnam War vet who kills a Vietnamese-American man he claims was a war criminal. He also provides the first eyewitness account that downed, U.S. pilots in Vietnam were taken into custody by Soviets, a claim that galvanizes Harm. Also provocative is "Above and Beyond," in which an African-American Navy SEAL, believing he is subject to a racist, double standard of scrutiny, chafes under an investigation into his worthiness to receive a Medal of Honor. --Tom Keogh

Annoyd but satisfied June 22, 2009 Wallace L. Butler I received this product in excellent condition (NEW). My only comlaint is it took so long to receive. I use to recive products from Amazon in a faster period of time. Is this also a sign of the bad economic times. Almost two weeks for delivery thats hard to swallow. Yes of course Icab pay more for 2 day but almost 2 weeks from order time. This is expected when ou use United postal Service.
JAG Season 3 April 15, 2009 Jennifer L. Kaiser I received the 3rd season of JAG in a timely manner and am well pleased with my purchase.
2 b continued February 26, 2009 Keith Daling (oregon) great show only had 1 problem it was to be continued and i had not yet recieved season 4 and had 2 wait to see how it continued
It just keeps getting better. Jag Rocks! January 7, 2009 kindred spirit (God's Country) I didn't watch Jag until it was in the 10th season. Recently I caught it on TV reruns and got totally hooked. I had to get the DVD's. Needless to say I LOVE Harm Rabb, he couldn't be any cuter. Season two brought Catherine Bell on the scene as Harm's Partner. I love the immediate chemistry between them and the looks Harm gives her...my heart swoons. The love is there for sure now but they cannot act on it. The adventures are so varied and different in each show. Season two has more courtroom time it's investigations and drama. I cannot say enough good about this show. You will not be disappointed.
