Product Description P!nk continues to prove her mettle as an immensely talented performer with a lot to say. On her first DVD she's back with yet another astonishing live performance taped at Wembley Arena on December 4 2006. As always P!nk goes full throttle in true P!nk fashion. Fans are treated to 120 minutes of a full concert performance and as if that wasn't enough it also features a making of the tour - candid diary style behind-the-scenes with P!nk. She takes the viewer on her tour adventure and shows what goes into making it all happen. This title carries a parental advisory.Song Titles:'Cuz I Can Trouble Just Like a Pill Who Knew I'm Not Dead Stupid Girls Spanish Dance There You Go God Is a DJ Fingers Family Portrait The One That Got Away Dear Mr. President What's Up? Amazon.com Slick and earthy at the same time, Live from Wembley Arena picks up where Live in Europe left off. In this case, Pink, looking like Wendy O. Williams in black eyeliner and blond crop, is captured in one London show, circa December 2006, rather than in highlights from several. Since the first live DVD, she released her fourth album. There is, naturally, some overlap between the two videos--notably, "Trouble" and "God Is a DJ"--but the singer adds several songs from I'm Not Dead, like the title track, "U + Ur Hand," and "Stupid Girls." This time, however, there are no covers, except for a nod to "Sweet Dreams Are Made of This" during "Get the Party Started." Along with her talented troupe of backing dancers, she busts plenty of moves herself, particularly on the flamenco-flavored "There You Go." Then, on "Fingers," she ups the ante with death-defying Cirque Du Soleil-style acrobatics while suspended above the stage. There's also a lot of strong singing, although she must surely be lip-syncing during "Fingers" (it's hard to carry a tune while doing somersaults in the air), and her voice does start to abandon her during "What's Up." Fortunately, the audience helps out by joining in on the chorus. Pink confirms her versatility by performing "The One That Got Away" and "Dear Mr. President" in acoustic mode. And the number of costume changes--around a dozen--would surely turn Cher green with envy. As they say in England, "Jolly good show!" --Kathleen C. Fennessy

P!nk rocks the house! August 24, 2008 I had to buy this DVD after catching part of this concert on TV. Fantastic performance and show! I didn't realize P!nk was that strong of a vocal performer. Great live performer.
I Love You Pink! February 8, 2008 Incredible! Awesome! What else can I say. Pink is the best and this concert has it all! I've been a Pink fan since her debut album and will always be. This concert has it all, great songs, intensity, great showmanship and the super sexiness that Pink is known for. What a wonderful talent. Ok, I'm 62 years old and my friends would probably tell me I'm nuts, but hey, I know good music when I hear it. Go Pink!
Pink's Incredible at Wembley December 1, 2007 Pink's performance at Wembley Arena in London is nothing short of incredible. She performs songs from each of her albums during the concert and she sounds terrific live. There's a little bit of everything in this concert - from acoustic performances to acrobatics and good ole rock and roll. Even if you get a chance to see her perform live, you still will want to add this DVD to your collection, as it is one that any P!nk fan will watch over and over again. P!NK RULES I cannot wait until she tours again.
Perfectly Pink! November 6, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Without a doubt, Pink is the most underappreciated artist currently recording. She lets you into her life through her songs and her performances and makes you feel completely comfortable, like a life long friend. She sings about the things she believes in and doesn't worry about being with the popular opinion. Pink is a perfect example of a woman: Strong, sexy, self-aware, confidant and compassionate. Real.
That said ...
I NEVER get tired of listening to and watching this DVD! Totally SEXY! Totally HOT! Totally ENTERTAINING! Totally FUN! Totally PINK!
This DVD rocks from beginning to end! Every song is addicting and you won't be able to help yourself from singing (and dancing!) along. This concert is not an exact replica of her studio recordings as she can actually sing live. Those who can, do! ;) She showcases her band and backing vocalists and makes you feel like you are in an intimate setting with her down to earth conversations between and, at times during, her songs. As you watch her, you know that she is actively performing, not just going through the motions. The fun she is having is contagious and her ability to make even the home viewer want to move and rock out is amazingly tremendous! She is an exciting performer who electrifies every moment of this event and every inch of Wembley Arena.
This DVD will leave you completely satisfied and, yet, insatiably wanting more, all at the same time! I don't condone smoking but for lack of a better expression, cigarette anyone???
Pink is a true artist and is well worth every minute you spend listening to and watching her. We are living in the time of a true legend in the making! Take advantage of this opportunity to experience her! You won't be disappointed!
