Once BittenThe Countess has a problem. She is a 400 year old vampire who will cease to look young unless she is able to feed on a virgin three times before Holloween a week away. He wants to 'do it' with Robin in the worst way but she wants to wait. Jamie and Russ Mark's goofy friends convince him to go to a Hollywood pick up spot where Mark meets the Countess on the prowl. Robin's not going to understand.Vampire's KissA publishing executive is visited and bitten by a vampire and starts exhibiting erratic behavior. He pushes his secretary to extremes as he tries to come to terms with his affliction. I got this duel movie dvd for one reason... Vampire's Kiss! I love this movie!! It's a bit sick... a bit twisted, and totally demented. A total gem!!
Once Bitten on the other hand leaves a lot to be desired. I have to admit I am a bit biased since I don't care for Jim Carrey's work and don't think he's funny. Then again, I don't think his biggest fan would actually like this movie. It's not very well done, and could have been much better if it had a good script and was directed and edited better. I would suggest renting it if you are interested in just Once Bitten. On the other hand, this double dvd was cheaper than the dvd with just Vampire's Kiss on it, so why not?
