Amazon.com The sixth entry in the long-running American Pie franchise anchors its story in the tried-and-true rivalry between nerds and jocks while serving up the non-stop barrage of raunchy gags for which the series has earned its notoriety. The twist in Beta House is that the nerds are actually the heels of the picture, while the heroes (as it were) are hormonally super-charged Erik Stifler (John White) and his pals, who pledge at their college's most chaotic frat during their freshman year. That the fraternity, Beta House, is run by Erik's cousin Dwight (Steve Talley) only works in their favor, but trouble rears its head in the form of the Geek House, a rival frat made up of socially awkward boys with money to burn due to their technological superiority. The apex of their clash is the Greek Olympics (inexplicably presided over by American Pie regular Eugene Levy), which descends into a frenzy of scatological sight gags (one bit, inspired by the Russian Roulette scene in The Deer Hunter, is jaw-droppingly gross). The sweetness that tempered the sex jokes in the original American Pie is completely absent from this entry; that, however, may not be a bad thing for some viewers. The DVD includes a considerable amount of deleted material, including whole story lines removed from the final product; commentary by and interviews with the cast and crew, outtakes, an in-character interview with Levy, and a ridiculous "Yule Log" featurette (a smutty play on the old Video Yule Log) round out the extras. --Paul Gaita

Crazy frat movie that is hilarious! May 7, 2009 Shrack This is a hilarious movie! If you liked "Animal House" or the other "American Pie" movies, you'll like this. The humor is crude, the behavior is sophmoric at best, and debauchery runneth amok! As other reviewers have pointed out, this won't win any Oscars nor is it going to be held up as a revolutionary film. If you are sensitive, then this isn't the movie for you. This is a movie that is fun and very sophmoric, and it should be taken in that context. It's a laugh riot!
Degeneracy at it's utmost April 19, 2009 Eagleclaw99 (Mesa, Az) This movie is a severe insult to anyone's intellect. Some of my co-workers were playing this movie in our office and I was pretty much forced to watch it. It will leave anyone with any common sense feeling degraded. If you want to see T&A, why not just go all the way and rent a xxx porno flick? The acting will be much better and the scenes will flow more smoothly.
wow! wow! wow! September 18, 2008 S. Singh (guyana) wow! American pie movie speakes for it self. i have all the movies and love them.
Typcial American Pie Franchise Humor July 23, 2008 International_Bargains (Yuma AZ) If you have seen any of the American Pie movies, then you will know what to expect on this movie. Its the same type of humor. If you emjoyed the American Pie movies, you will enjoy this. If you thought the American Pie movies were trashy then don't watch this (seriously, what were you expecting?). I enjoyed this movie - so why a 3 out of 5? Well, the movie was badly edited. You can tell that the final product was not what was originally written, and they changed or cut out parts. Theres a trailer showing the midget frat playing football - thats not in the movie. You can also tell from certain scenes that the lady from the greek frat was going to betray the geek house, but that never happened which made certain scenes seem a bit out of place. Overall, a good movie. I paid $2 for this movie and its worth it. Full price? Maybe not.
#6 June 17, 2008 David A. Smith (Webberville, Mi, USA) Okay, enough is enough they went overboard now, to many american pie movies, will they ever stop. the only rason to watch these dumb movies is because of eugene levy, he's the only reason to continue to watch these movies. heaven forbbid they make another one. this one is the worst out of all of them. the only reason this movie made it because of eugene levy.
