Amazon.com For those who believe true love lasts beyond this physical plane, P.S. I Love You is a jewel in the romantic-movie crown. With elements of Ghost, Heaven Can Wait, and My Life, the film is an unabashed valentine to the notion of lasting (everlasting?) love. Hilary Swank is Holly, a deeply happy lass married to the most impossibly adorable Irishman on the planet, Gerry (Gerard Butler). When an illness takes him from her, Holly spirals into depression. Then, as if from beyond the grave, communications, gifts, and remembrances from Gerry begin to appear--gestures he'd planned knowing his death was coming. The "communications" with her dead husband could threatened to keep Holly in past, yet they begin to pave a path into her future. Swank, not a traditional romantic actress, is quite moving as Holly, whose grief and confusion is palpable. Butler will win new continents of fans, largely female, as the yummiest honey one could wish for. Special kudos to the supporting cast, including Lisa Kudrow as a Holly pal, and James Marsters and Kathy Bates, always breaths of fresh air onscreen. Under the sure hand of director-writer Richard LaGravenese, P.S. I Love You is touching, sad (have tissues on hand), and heartbreakingly lovely. --A.T. Hurley

P.S. I love you February 8, 2010 C. E. Franzen (Tyler, Texas) LOVE this movie. Did not know how sexy Gerard Butler could be. mmmm. Or that shoes could think.
Great Movie~ February 7, 2010 Sean B. Roberson (Virginia) I am a little biased on this film as my wife introduced it to me and it has kind of been our movie since. She is definitely the pragmatic one and she considers me her happy Irish singing guy, even though I am Scottish. Anyway, the movie is great and has a little something for everyone. It is both funny, charming and touching. I highly recommend it.
Worth it February 6, 2010 Therese A. Davis (ILLINOIS) I had mixed feelings about this movie.. at times I almost abandoned watching it - wasn't sure where it was going early on.. but stick with it. It is well done - a look at raw emotions going through the grieving process. Not so intense that it wears you out - and in the end everyone comes out in the sunshine. Worth the watch!
For a good cry. February 3, 2010 Summer D. Wood (Chicago, IL) I love this movie. I watch it when I need a good feel good cry. I recommend it for any woman who loves a good romance.
P.S. I love you January 30, 2010 Dorothy Silecchia (Belleair Bluffs, Fl.) This was bought as a gift for a friend and she loved it. The movie was very good.
It came pretty fast after I ordered it. I think Amazon.com is a great place to buy things.
