Amazon.com The second season of Brothers and Sisters saw the terrific top-notch cast hit their stride. The chemistry between Calista Flockhart's Kitty and the Republican senator she works for, played by Rob Lowe, is palpable, and their engagement this season makes for a charming thread entwining the tales of the rest of the Walker family. And what a year they're having. Sarah (Rachel Griffiths) has lost custody of her kids, but is now running Ojai Foods, and trying to navigate through the family issues that accompany the family business. Uncle Saul (Ron Rifkin) might be gay. Iraq vet Justin might be falling off the wagon. Affairs are lurking around every corner, tempting just about every Walker at one time or another. The sun around whom all the Walker planets spin, however, is still Nora (Sally Field), whose good humor and big heart go a long way toward giving the clan the glue it needs. When Justin apologizes for his snappish behavior at the family meeting the previous night addressing his drug use, Nora says, "No one expects you to be warm and fuzzy at your own intervention, dear."
This season, Nora gets some affairs of the heart herself, with a charming guest appearance by Chevy Chase as Nora's college draft-dodging beau, back in the states as a teacher but still exactly on Nora's not-quite-reformed hippie wavelength. But tension awaits in the form of Isaac (Danny Glover), Nora's political opposite, but absolutely her equal mentally and emotionally. It's satisfying to see a woman older than 35 have a real love life, with real sparks--and real consequences. --A.T. Hurley

Super series December 29, 2009 F. B. NEVES That's one of the best series ever, I just wish they release it in blu-ray.
About Brothers and Sisters December 24, 2009 Maria G. Martin Mancera (Baja California Mexico) Brothers and Sisters is such a good thing to watch that after I almost obligued a friend to take it out from blockbuster, she called me and said now I'm like a Jehova witness with their Bible under his arm reccommending everybody to read it, but mine is not a Bible it is Brothers and Sisters.
Also when I called to Amazon telling them that they have sent me 3 of Brothers and Sisters instead of 1 as I had ordered, the guy answering me the phone call said oooh! I loved that one too, isn't it wonderful?
I have just integrated my family to the Walkers family .
I could say more about it but I think this is enough to convince people that it is a very good one
Brothers/Sisters December 16, 2009 sterlingstorm (Dalton,Ga, usa) The Brothers and Sister Complete season one and two are wonderful. Contains a little "something" for everyone and best of all features Sally Fields..one of my all-time favorite actresses.I plan to own every season recorded.
Addicting November 5, 2009 K. Cato This a wonderfully addicting series. On so many levels I can relate and understand what each personality is going thru. The show has been a well needed break for myself and fellow co-workers overseas.
Everything....and MORE! November 4, 2009 D. Nazarian (Troy, NY) In my opinion this is one of the best written TV shows about a family in a long time. Each and every episode will make you both laugh & cry. Granted the Walker family has money, but the issues they face are issues we all face, they are real people dealing with real issues. You can relate to this family, you share their happiness & feel their sadness. Sometimes they do the right thing & other times they fall flat on their faces, but no matter what happens the writers & actors make sure you feel it right along with the characters. Each actor plays their role perfectly and have transformed themselves into their character flawlessly, with the natural little quirks & habits we all have. The humor is well done and the drama keeps you coming back for more. The Walkers are a fantastic family and the most believable to come along in a long time.
