 Great Looking Box Set That Doesn't Work February 1, 2010

I received the box set in a very timely manner and was impressed with the packaging. However, that's when things began to go down hill. We had been eager to watch our favorite episode of Will & Grace, so we put in the appropriate disk and tried to watch it. It was the 4th or 5th episode on the disk. It wouldn't play. We tried it in 3 different DVD players with no luck. I called Amazon, after finally tracking down a phone number [not easy to find]. The gladly sent out a replacement, which I received three days later. We got the set put in the disk... No luck. Tried other disks. None of the later episodes work on the disks worked in either set. Christmas was not as fun for my wife...
Damaged DVDs December 29, 2009

I ordered this for a Christmas gift for my daughter in spite of the bad reviews because Amazon posted a note that said the defects had been fixed. Wrong!!! The first DVD would not even load and the others she has tried are freezing. I just got off the phone with Amazon..they are sending a replacement. Hopefully the new set will be better otherwise I will be requesting a refund.

I have the WG "complete" series. So far, I'm into the 3rd season and loving every minute of it. I marked which disk each episode was on in the guide, and that's when I saw so many missing storylines. It turns out that none of the episodes was missing. I did not realize that in season 3 WG started having 2 menus. I was missing the last 3 episodes on each disk. I went back today and checked off each episode in the guide. They were all there. I still rank this as a 5-star performance set. This is exceptionally smart comedy and I recommend it anyone who really likes clever dialogue. Buy and enjoy.
