Coral Reef - Hold your breath and let's go March 14, 2010 John (Atlantic City) Stunning idea, teaming up IMAX with blu-ray! The video is interesting and informative with a moral environmental message. The main reason for the purchase was to see how our new blu-ray player looked on the HDTV. What a beautiful surprise! The price was right, you won't go wrong.
Unbelieveable! February 22, 2010 greatescape (NC) Color! Color! Color! Unbelievable color! But the real treat is the audio...If you have a good sound system you can turn the video off and just listen to the sound for an amazing experience in DTS audio...Definitely worth the $10.00 and more!
Great film for anyone who loves the ocean and it's creatures. February 19, 2010 Matthew Karns (Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania USA) This film is wonderful for anyone who appreciates and loves the beauty of the ocean and the magnificence of it's diversity of life. It basically follows a 10 month journey of two underwater photographers as they investigate coral reefs in a variety of conditions throughout the South Pacific. Inspiring, moving, sometimes sad, the film will truly make you want to do something to save coral reef ecosystems before it is too late. The underwater imagery is breathtaking in 1080P with some scenes looking like you are viewing the fish and corals in an aquarium and the narrative moves along nicely as you follow these two individuals on their dives. I only wish the film could have been longer! I would highly recommend this blu ray for any nature or ocean buffs or anyone who is interested and fascinated by our amazing blue planet.

My title sums it up. I was so disappointed with this video that I felt like I could actually improve on it with some of my own editing! I'd remove 80% of the people scenes, replacing them with home movies of me snorkeling in the Philippines. I'd replace the entire Crosby, Stills and Nash sound track with Jimmy Buffett tunes. I'd throw in a few more dead coral reefs from around the world and get Ben Stein to narrate. I'd throw in a scene where my mask fills up with water and I almost die from a jelly fish sting. Finally, I'd add some special features of me talking about whatever and a nice long 'About Me' feature. I'd still have a crappy video but better!
Decent, but could've been better. January 30, 2010 M. Doehring I really liked the underwater video that was shot, but the storyline took up more of the film than I hoped it would. If they would have minimized the storyline and just had more underwater film it would have been even better.
