i was very unsure of the movie coming out, since i thought the series ended so perfect. however i was pleasantly surprised. i love it! its all that you expect from the series, the girls, the city, cosmos, clothes, shoes, and men...oh and sex. i think the opening of the movie is so beautiful on blue ray. i highly recommend this for any satc fan!

I was HBO deprived so I never watched the show when it came out. Watched some of the episodes in syndication, and I thought was OK for 1/2 hour episodes.
The episodes changed each time, but this movie way too shallow for 2 hours. I love NYC even though only visited on business. The show did have many episodes in cool locations around NYC. The movie disappointing in that as well.
If you want a movie with more depth, great shots of NYC... get Confession of a Shop-a-Holic, or the original Sex series.
Kim Cartall was great in the Ice Princess ! She needs to dump the city and move forward! Same as the other actresses whom I respect in other roles.
This "movie" could have been the last season of the show February 12, 2010

it was ok, but what the heck happened to all the Pretty actresses in Hollywood???? The best looking one is "Samantha" and she's pushing 60. No wonder Miranda's husband strayed, I know she was the breadwinner of that family, but, yeww, he's prettier than her and he's not all that good looking. Wow, it's a good thing this show went off the air, I wonder how many pea brained idiot woman that watched this drivel thought this is the way woman are suppose to act? Probably quite a few, and I'll bet they are all still single. Enjoy!
