When are these coming to dvd? I liked the show all the way through. Please release them.

The series dynamics were changing this season (1999-2000) as campaign manager Caitlin Moore (Heather Locklear) came on board the cast to direct the Mayor's Senate attempt. Remembering her only from Melrose Place, T J Hooker, and Dynasty, I was impressed to realize she successfully does genuine comedy.
After they turn down the likes of James Carville (!) she is hired on. But Caitlin isn't as smooth as she sells herself as--she's bankrupted the campaign coffers (The Mayor May Not). The race is ultimately abandoned. But for some reason, she remains around the office.
Despite originally wanting to find out what dirt Caitlin had on him (All the Mayor's Men) a recurring theme throughout the season becomes the office crush which the two have on each other.
It reaches such proportions that Mike even travels to Paris to stop Caitlin from getting married to another man (An American Deputy Mayor in Paris). Then our woman-crazy protagonist sincerely pledges to abstain from sex for a week (The Commitments).
Unfortunately, all good things come to an end. And this is the last good season of Spin City. To prevent the Mayor from inadvertently being taken down in a scandal, Mike takes the fall and resigns. It provides Michael J. Fox the avenue to exit the series.
Because I and other fans that have grown up with his work know why Fox actually left, the scenes remain genuinely powerful. Please do yourself a favor and do not purchase subsequent seasons of this series; it is not at all the same quality product. You're going to notice a big difference.
