Product Description Inspector clouseau is put on the case when the pink panther diamond is stolen with the phantoms trademark glove the only clue. Studio: Uni Dist Corp. (mca) Release Date: 01/10/2006 Starring: Peter Sellers Peter Arne Run time: 113 minutes Rating: G Director: Blake Edwards
Amazon.com Peter Sellers's third go-around as the prideful but bumbling Inspector Jacques Clouseau is funny enough, but this 1975 Blake Edwards revival of the Sellers-Clouseau connection is a little weak in comparison to predecessors The Pink Panther and A Shot in the Dark (both made in 1964). Costar Christopher Plummer actually gets some of the most interesting screen time as a retired cat burglar whom Clouseau accuses of getting back into the business. (If it sounds like there might be a To Catch a Thief vibe mixed in here, you're right.) Herbert Lom is hilarious as Clouseau's psychologically eroding boss, and Clouseau's ritualistic collisions with valet Cato (Burt Kwouk) are great examples of Edwards's delicious comic timing. --Tom Keogh

Funny; a good sequel to the original July 4, 2008 I enjoyed this sequel; I think it is the funniest one after the 1964 original Pink Panther film. Some of the slapstick is hilarious.
I find it's not funny at all. August 18, 2007 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
I find it's not funny at all. I don't know why British-style comedies usually do not attract me. So far, the only British comedies I like are Mr. Bean, Benny Hill show and Charlie Chaplin.
The only way to complete the collection May 11, 2007 This motion picture, is not included in the MGM collection, it's a need to get it, to complete the PINK PANTHER series.
Pretty darn good for a sequal !!!! March 26, 2007 Hey, for the third installment of the Pink Panther franchise. It's not that bad. The acting was excellent as ususal. The plot is a simple one. The famous Pink Panther diamond is stolen once again and all clues are pointing to that rouge jewel thief "The Phantom". Clouseau is brought in to solve the case. But there is one problem, this time "The Phantom" aka ,Sir Charles Lytton really didn't do it this time. So, now both Closeau and Lytton must race to figure out this mystery before they are both killed.
Good but not the best January 23, 2007 One of better movies from Jacq Clusoe series, although not the best. There are some dull moments but also plenty of laughs supported by Peter Sellers antics. Recommended for "Pink Panther" series funs but also for those who love European comedies in general.
