Period drama at its best October 9, 2008 Joe E. Byerly (Pebble Beach, CA USA) This review written by my wife, Melanie: If you enjoy excellent period drama, or just excellent drama, this series is for you. Cast is superb, scripts well-written, and attention to historic detail meticulous. Unlike much dramatic material, characters and plots are believable and realistic. I was so intrigued with this series, I had to watch it all in one weekend.

Excellent! You have to start at season one, you will be walked through social classes, sexism, damned determination, and love. A must see for edwardian period costumes, lifestyle, architecture, woman power, happy and sad life events. You will not be able to stop watching until you have completed all 4 dvd's. Enjoy!
Just a portion of a really great BBC presentation November 13, 2007 Shirley Wall (Woods Cross, Utah USA) 11 out of 13 found this review helpful
The whole Bramwell series is not to be missed. The only problem is that the ENTIRE series is NOT out in a boxed series and we have to buy them in bits parts & pieces. SOMEBODY PLEASE release the ENTIRE SERIES SOON!!!!!!!!!
