Awesome movie July 9, 2007 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I decided to rent this despite the fact that it's an older film because I love Rutger Hauer. The plot has a lot of twists and turns and a surprising ending. This one is definitely easy to overlook but certainly worth seeing if you're a fan of thrillers. Enjoy.
Highly recommend August 28, 2004 6 out of 10 found this review helpful
Every week, I used to check the TV GUIDE to see if this movie was playing on WGN, the only place I could find it. I'm glad it is finally available on DVD. It has re-watchability. You think this is a love story. Then you realize it is a drama. Then it seems like a simplel love story. Then it is a drama. Perfect editing! It has the same type of tension that SLEEPING WITH THE ENEMY had. (That was the Julia Roberts movie where she changed her identity to escape her abusive husband).
Loved it! April 13, 2000 23 out of 24 found this review helpful
I thought that this movie was great! First of all, it has Rutger Hauer, who is always wonderful and who is one of my favorite actors. He plays Ben Jordan, a man who was convicted of killing his wife and unborn child. He meets up with Natasha Richardson, who plays a social worker, trying to find him a job. Along the way, she develops feelings for him, and is set on proving his innocence. It is a wonderful story with many twists and turns. The ending is a total shocker, and just adds to the suspense of the film. Very good acting by both leads, and Rutger never looked better! This movie will not disappoint, and I urge anyone who reads this review to get it!
