My wife is on a HUGE Dolly kick... so this was a great gift for her. Do yourself a favor, if you haven't seen the show, don't watch the "trailer," which is essentially a 5 minute cliff-notes version of the show and pretty much eliminates the need to watch the movie.

I am an unlikely fan of Dolly Parton. Country music is not my cup of tea. Classical music has been my passion. So, why do I like this movie and Dolly Parton?
Besides, the plot of this movie is corny and predictable and the theology terrible! However, I LOVE this movie. It is really heart-warming, uplifting, and beautiful. The music is great!
I'm becomming a Dolly fan. She is a brilliant woman and I admire her quite a bit.
Also, you can't beat the price of this movie.

Dolly's cute persona and the Christmas spirit are all you need, and this film will get you into it.

I'm a huge fan of this movie. I love Dolly Parton. Dolly Parton in this movie is just awesome.I love this movie it is a wonderful holiday movie. I love how she comes and helps out this troubled family. She really brings this family back together. But through it all she even finds her own self. I truely recommend this movie to anyone. I would highly recommend this movie to add to any holiday collection or to just purchase to see.
