Amazon.com Watch teen-pop queen Britney Spears cavorting in the sun and surf in Live and More! Part concert video and part travelogue, it features eight songs performed live on Hawaii's Waikiki Beach, including of course hits from her smash album Oops!... I Did It Again, in front of thousands of enthusiastic fans, the youngest of whom can be spotted mouthing the words while perched on their big sisters' shoulders. These songs are interspersed with clips of her "down time" in Hawaii: learning to hula at the Polynesian Cultural Center, playing with a dolphin, holding a dance rehearsal at Waimea Falls, and parasailing. She also gives an impromptu pizza party at the home of her "No. 1 fan" and drops in on a classroom--photo ops, sure, but also a genuine thrill for the kids. Completing this grab bag are three music videos ("Oops!... I Did It Again," "Stronger," "Lucky") and clips from when she hosted Saturday Night Live. Most of the sketches ("Woodrow the Homeless Man," "Britney Judges Dance Tryouts") require her to play herself, but she does stretch out (a little) as author Dawn Paslowski on the fictional talk show Morning Latte. She also performs "Oops!... I Did It Again" and "Don't Let Me Be the Last to Know" on the show and pokes fun at gossipmongers by noticeably padding herself. While this helter-skelter programming may frustrate those longing for a straight concert video, the sheer variety of material collected here makes Live and More! a real screamfest for Britney-philes. --David Horiuchi

Britney's Second Best DVD - Packed full of Goodies October 5, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This DVD chronicles the entire `Oops I did it Again' Era and has music videos, live performances, outtakes, and SNL appearances from that famous 1999-2000 phase.
Sadly, looking at this now only reminded me of how good an entertainer Britney really was. Love and marriage do weird things to people I guess, and Britney's downward trend began when she met and married Kevin Federline. Isn't it a shame when this happens to female singers? Whitney Houston signed her life away the day she met Bobby Brown and she still hasn't regained her former glory. The sad part is, Britney is actually a gifted entertainer. Like Madonna, she has no perceivable skills to speak of, except for her moderately good looks. However, when you use that in conjunction with above-average dancing and some killer pop tunes, you have magic, as we can witness on this DVD.
My favorite portions of this include her infamous SNL appearance as a former Mousketeer and she disses herself (should be seen to be believed). And then there those amazingly energetic dance moves and performances she became legendary for. The best on this is for `The Beat Goes On', a cover of the Sonny and Cher song, and subsequent versions of `Oops' itself. In fact, the videos for Oops and `Stronger' are included alongwith this fantabulous package.
Of all the Britney DVDs out there, this by FAR has the most content. In fact you can let it play and it just goes on and on, and is never boring. If you were a fan of Spears during the Oops Era, this DVD has everything you could possibly want. Its full of stuff, believe me, unlike so many of her other DVDs that were low on content and extras. Right now, its second to her Greatest Hits DVD, which cant be beat, for obvious reasons.
Must-Buy.
Buy the DVD so you can skip the irritating skits October 22, 2005 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
I love Britney to bits and pieces, but I have to skip Woodrow the Homeless Man and the talk show with the man and woman. The Woodrow part is so ugly! He looks like a grouchketeer from Sesame Street! The talk show part just stinks! It's so ugly, too! I reccomend this, but I suggest you buy the DVD so that you can skip Woodrow and the talk show.
Proof that Britney can sing!! August 6, 2005 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
If you've ever contemplated if teen queen Britney Spears can actually sing like she does on her hit-records, then this DVD is for you! No more doubt here, folks. La Brit delivers, both signed and sealed and showcasing that sexiness that we all have come to know and love. Live and More! is a must-buy for any Britney Spears fan. This girl has definitely come a long way since she debuted in 1998 with her No. 1, Grammy-nominated smash "...Baby One More Time."
Here's a better live and more August 4, 2005 2 out of 7 found this review helpful
This text is live!
And more! Look below!
Britney Spears sucks. She lip-synchs!
Wow! It's live, and more! OMG!!!
And it's free! Actually, you gain money from not buying the other Live And More, the crappy one from lip-syncher and fake Britney Spears.
Britney Spears - Live and More! April 9, 2005 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
The music is awesome, the extras are terrible. I love the concert in Hawaii, but the interviews and the snl extras seem like fillers and that is never a good thing since it seems like they could have added more footage from her other concerts. The videos are great and opps I did it again is a tremendous viedo with Spears wearing a tremendously sexy red outfit which makes her look simply astounding. This is a very good video that should be bought by fans of Spears and if you like good pop music in general.
