Amazon.com Considering how lame this sequel could have been, The Santa Clause 2 makes for a pleasant holiday diversion. It's got the familiar smell of Disney marketeering, and more than a few parents will object to this further embellishment of the St. Nick legend, but Tim Allen's amiable presence provides ample compensation. As a divorced dad who inherited the jolly man's job in The Santa Clause, Allen now faces another Yuletide challenge. According to the "Missus Clause" in his North Pole contract, he can't continue to be the real Santa until he gets married. As luck and five credited screenwriters would have it, Allen falls for the Scrooge-y principal (Elizabeth Mitchell) of his son's school, while a phony, power-hungry duplicate Santa wreaks havoc on the North Pole's overworked elves. It's all as sweet as spiced eggnog, with that warmed-over feel of a mandated sequel, but the Christmas spirit does prevail with the sound of sleigh bells and Allen's rosy-cheeked ho, ho, ho! --Jeff Shannon

The Santa Claus 2 November 3, 2008 I loved the first one..the 2nd was fair and the 3rd one was a disappointment. But still good to have the 3 set and fun to watch.
Outstanding Movie! October 18, 2008 A great sequel to a great movie. I really enjoyed watching the 2nd one as I did the first both are fabulous movies, and gives you a couple of laughs. A def must to watch at Christmas time.
To be expected from a sequel September 23, 2008 Well, what a movie, not that great. I think they make movies like those over the top, they start with simple ideas and then bombard the audience with alot of visual effects and no plot. I saw very little character development. It just seems to me that movie makers want to compete on who can make the most hyper movie. Visual effects are great but when it detracts from the message of the over all movie it is just plain silly. However, the scene where they give the teachers all there old favorite games and things it was really fun, those are what make movies a little more magical is to do unexspected things without the hyperness. There were some clever funny parts but the end with the battle and the wedding were too much. Over all it is a great movie to watch as a family. The best part about the movies is that it is clean and it good for everyone.
Good fun August 6, 2008 Although nowhere near as good as the first, this is still a fun family movie.
Heartwarming Family Movie! June 19, 2008 Tim Allen will forever be our Santa with his personality and memorable voice. This is a must see and own movie to watch for every Christmas to come. Your children will LUV it and so will the adults. [If they admit it]
